One day hands-on workshop with Chloe Cheese exploring a simplified version of Sheila Robinson’s printmaking technique.

First of all we will visit The Fry Gallery to examine Sheila’s finished prints.

Please bring your own drawings and sketch books too so that we can talk through ideas and adapt the technique to your own style. The technique involves cutting and tearing so bring your own Stanley knife (with a new blade).

Coffee and tea will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch or be prepared to forage in Saffron Walden.

We will be printing by hand without a press. Wear an apron and old clothes. The ink is washable but may stain.

Venue: The United Reform Church, Abbey Lane, Saffron Walden CB10 1AG (There is ample parking)
