Join multidisciplinary artist researchers Ghost and John for an experimental and playful workshop expanding on the landscapes of our bodies and how we can perform, construct and agitate towards collective liberated ecological futures.

“There are rivers, minerals, and energy that pass through us as we are nourished and sustained by the landscapes that carry us.”

Building on their ongoing work at the intersection of artistic creation, ecological health, migration, and queerness, Ghost and John will guide us through a session interrogating liberation and capacity building for internal peace and collective healing.

Through a number of movement, writing and drawing experiments, together we will shape a greater landscape and common infrastructure that will support us to dream and imagine bravely and freely for futures with freedom for all, rooted in queer and migrant experiences. After all, what artistic, personal, spiritual, or political constellations arise when we come together and our artistic ecologies collide?

Ghost and John call all makers, collaborators, and dreamers to join them for an exploration of communal well-being, interrogating embodied ecologies and their potential in reframing boundaries, borders, and everyday abolition.

This workshop is open to anyone to attend, but will particularly resonate with queer and migrant folks and/or those who have an existing interest or practice exploring ecologies, worldbuilding, socially engaged art, and embodied practices.
