See London from a whole new angle on a Regent's Canal narrowboat trip from the London Canal Museum & discover a different side of the heart of the city, away from the crowds.
Our range of trips include an expert commentary* from a museum guide, exploring points of interest, the history of the canals and more! All trips depart from London Canal Museum, located in the vibrant King’s Cross quarter, and your boat trip ticket includes free entry to the museum where you can explore the history of our canals and discover the fascinating story of the Victorian Norway to London Ice Trade - when our historic museum building was an ice warehouse!
Trips along the Regent’s Canal aboard the Museum’s narrowboat ‘Long Tom’ depart from the Museum on Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays from March-28th to October-27th. Choose from our Islington Tunnel trips on Thursdays and Sundays (with a cream tea trip at 15.00 on Thursdays), or our longer cruises on Fridays to Little Venice or Victoria Park.
New for 2024 (commencing fortnightly on Wednesdays from 1st May) are short trips from the museum to St.Pancras lock and back (*no guided commentary) – only £12 including full access to the museum.
