Join Dr Rosy Gray, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery, as she explores René Magritte’s La Condition Humaine (1935). Currently on loan to RAMM as part of our exhibition, Hollow Earth, Magritte’s work was given to Norwich Castle by Sir Robert and Lady Adeane and is one of the most intriguing works in the collection.
Rosy cares for over 1,400 works, including a significant collection of international twentieth century paintings by artists such as Andy Warhol and Francis Picabia. She has developed exhibitions, projects and commissions across a range of public institutions, including Ferens Art Gallery as part of Hull City of Culture 2017.
