Bend it, Shape it, Any Way You Want it: An Interactive Talk on Neon
Famed Brighton neon artist Andy Doig will reveal the workings of the esoteric and original medium in this special talk.
From its origins in the early 20th century to its embrace by artists in the 1960s, onto world domination and the terrible times too, Andy will enlighten the audience with the story of this fascinating artform, concluding with neon's emergence into the 21st century as a craft of cultural significance.
Tickets to the talk include entry to Signs of the Seaside, in which visitors can enjoy seeing a number of Andy Doig’s neon pieces.
