Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Birmingham
14 June 2023
1pm - 1.30pm
Free to all

Images have always held an important role in the retelling of the Christian story. This season’s print bay display celebrates the narrative quality of sacred images by following the chronology of Christ’s life from birth to death to resurrection. In this talk, Chloe Church (National Gallery Curatorial Trainee) will highlight a couple of the key works, and link the display to the wider Green Gallery context of Renaissance masterpieces and sacred subjects.
