Led by London Drawing, take part in a sensory drawing workshop inspired by exhibition ‘Unfamiliar’ using medical objects from the RCP Museum collection.
Join London Drawing for a workshop which will awaken your mind’s eye and create new pathways between your eye and your hand. Using all your senses explore medical objects from a mixture of eras in an evening of drawing exploration. Inspired by our exhibition make the familiar unfamiliar and join us for a drawing adventure!
‘Unfamiliar’ is a collaboration between art and medicine, co-curated by photographer Theo Deproost and physician associate Debbie Jegede. As part of the workshop you will explore their stunning reinterpretations of the RCP’s medical and fine art collections.
Observe in the exhibition how Theo’s artworks offer new, altered perspectives that challenge our understanding and impression of supposedly inert museum objects. Then step into the beautiful setting of our Council Chamber to create your own interpretive artworks.
