The Wild Escape: Exploring Nature through Printmaking

The Art House, Wakefield
5 April 2023
9.30am - 3pm
Free to all

Spend a fun day getting inky in our Print Studio with professional printmaker Kirstie Williams.

Learn to create artwork using a variety of techniques from block printing, monoprinting, and screen printing to create cards and print images onto paper. Use plants and foliage from our urban orchard to develop ideas and imagery.

Explore colour, shape, pattern and texture and come away with your own printed artworks to give to friends and family, or display in pride of place at home.

All materials are provided for the workshop. Children will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and a drink with them and should wear clothes that don't matter if they get a little mucky.

Ages 7-11, free, booking essential.
