Wolverhampton Art Gallery is a purpose-built gallery dating back to the 1800s and was extended in 2007, doubling the exhibition space. The gallery has permanent displays of Victorian and Georgian paintings and decorative arts, as well as collections of Pop Art, Northern Irish art, contemporary art, and examples of work created by artists local to Wolverhampton. There is also a regular exhibition programme which includes national touring shows.
