Overview

A heady show of the highest fashion in shoes, this first UK retrospective from the French designer draws together his best designs from the last 20 years. Exploring the sources of Louboutin's creativity, from art and architecture to fantasy and fairytale, the exhibition celebrates a career which has pushed the boundaries of shoe design.

Don't miss

Alongside his commercial designs – shoes, boots, sneakers, pumps, all characterised by the famous red sole – there will be handcrafted models and a special section of shoes designed by Louboutin for Fetish, his 2007 collaboration with David Lynch.

The core of the exhibition is an exploration of Louboutin's design process, taking visitors from initial idea to finished product. Even the company's innovative store designs feature prominently, as the exhibition examines the role Louboutin plays in their conception.
