 |  Royal Academy of Arts  |  23 January - 18 April 2010

Reduced price with National Art Pass  |  Full venue & entry details

This is the first major exhibition of Van Gogh’s work to be shown in London since 1968, and its focus is on the numerous letters that the artist wrote in which he expressed his ideas about art, nature, literature and life.

In an artistic career that lasted only a decade, he produced more than 800 paintings and 1,200 drawings, while still finding the time to pen over 800 eloquent and revealing letters.
