Dartmouth Museum

A small, child-friendly museum in a merchant's house, dated 1640.

There are many ship models, pictures and artefacts of this ancient town, with one gallery showing the life of an extraordinary 19th-century Dartmothian. A 17th-century 'Tree of Jesse' plaster ceiling is open to view by appointment.
