Barbican Art Gallery presents an international and dynamic mix of art, architecture, design, fashion and photography.
The Gallery is one of the UK's leading venues for temporary exhibitions. From acclaimed architects to Turner Prize-winning artists, it showcases innovators of the 20th and 21st centuries: key figures who have shaped development and stimulated change. Visitors can also enjoy the free exhibition space, The Curve, which is home to a vibrant programme of new commissions created by leading contemporary artists in direct response to the gallery space.
The gallery's shop stocks a wide range of books and merchandise, including posters, postcards and magazines, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars for visitors to enjoy in the Barbican complex. Access to the gallery is provided by a ramped main entrance and lifts which service every floor of the Barbican building.
