The ING Collection, housed in the heart of the City of London, is a fascinating holding of pictures and applied art, and includes significant memorabilia associated with the firm of Baring Brothers. There are fine 20th-century works by artists including Richard Eurich, Duncan Grant, Patrick Heron, LS Lowry and William Nicholson; impressive portraits of the Baring family by masters such as Sir Thomas Lawrence; and outstanding 18th- and 19th-century watercolours by John Sell Cotman, Samuel Palmer and others. Our guides will be ING archivists Clara Harrow and Lara Webb.
This event has been organised by a local support group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
