Rousham House is owned and lived in by Mr and Mrs Charles Cottrell-Dormer, who will guide us round their intriguing home which was built in 1635 by Sir Robert Dormer. There will also be a chance to view therir beautiful gardens, which represents the first stage of English landscape design and is almost as William Kent left it in the early 18th century.
Our coach visit will then move on to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, for a guided tour the newly opened and much praised Ancient Egypt galleries.
Coach leaves Newport Holiday Inn at 8.00am, and Chepstow slip road at 8.15am.
