Visit to Raby Castle, Bowes and Richmond Museums

A morning visit to Raby Castle, with coffee and a guided tour, will be followed by a light lunch at the Bowes Museum with an opportunity to see the Silver Swan in action following its restoration work. A guided tour of the newly-opened silver metals gallery with a short talk on how to 'Read a Masterpiece', in this case Goya's Prison, preceeds a visit to Richmond Local History museum to see their newly acquired St Thomas a Becket medallionwhich was part-funded by The Art Fund.
