Dating from 1688, Wallington is an impressive family home with a magnificent interior and a fine collection, including ceramics, paintings, dolls' houses, needlework and curiosities. Its remarkable Central Hall was decorated to look like an Italian courtyard and features a series of famous paintings of Northumbrian history by the Pre-Raphaelite William Bell Scott. The House is set within a tranquil landscape of lawns, lakes, parkland, woodland and a beautiful walled garden.
