Situated in a large 18th-century house in the heart of the historic town of Woodstock, the museum has 11 galleries including the newly opened Victorian Oxfordshire and children's Dinosaur Gallery. Other galleries explore Oxfordshire's landscape, wildlife and the county's innovative industries. The garden gallery hosts touring exhibitions, art and crafts. The walled garden displays a full-size model of a Megalosaurus surrounded by Jurassic planting. With interactive exhibits, events and activities, the museum offers something for visitors of all ages.
