Nottinghamshire

Free entry with National Art Pass  |  Full venue & entry details

Displays of social history, including paintings of Brewhouse Yard, housed in five 17th-century cottages. The museum contains a mixture of room and shop settings, and traditional gallery displays of objects made or used by the people of Nottingham. There’s a reconstructed Victorian schoolroom, and a new exhibition ‘Growing up in Nottingham’. Man-made caves built into the rock once used by local residents now house museum displays including a reconstructed air raid shelter.
