Wales's most popular heritage attraction. Over 40 original buildings from different historical periods have been re-erected at this open-air museum including farmhouses, a school and a grand medieval church. Traditional craftsmen including the clogmaker and blacksmith demonstrate their traditional skills. There are galleries with exhibitions of costume and agriculture and changing exhibitions exploring life and identity in today’s Wales. Regular special exhibitions show how the people of Wales lived, worked and spent their leisure time.
