This outstanding display of early keyboard and plucked string instruments is part of the Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, housed in the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland (1763). It includes harpsichords, clavichords, fortepianos, organs, harps, lutes and guitars from the 16th century to the present day.
