Thanks to all your support we’ve raised a fantastic £73,000 towards our target of £362,500 to help buy Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle for the National Maritime Museum and to celebrate we’re giving you the chance to win the ultimate Greenwich experience!

The lucky winner and their guest will begin the evening stargazing through an 18-tonne Victorian telescope at the Royal Observatory before enjoying a sumptuous at the National Maritime Museum’s 16 Seconds West Brasserie.

The prize

An Evening with the Stars is a truly unique experience, which includes a planetarium show, some time on the prime meridian with a hot drink and astronomers to hand, and a chance to look through the Royal Observatory's famous Victorian telescope.

The 16 Seconds West Brasserie celebrates British cuisine and locally sourced ingredients, the lucky winner will have a £75 voucher to spend at the restaurant.

**Please note that An Evening with the Stars must be attended on 15 February 2012 at 6.50pm and dinner to be taken immediately afterwards at 9.15pm as places for this unique event are highly sought after.
