An introduction to the smallest county in England, telling the story of Rutland through displays of archaeology, history and rural life. Enjoy our traditional games in the late 18th-century indoor riding school of the Rutland Fencible Cavalry, which also hosts a new programme of cinema, theatre and music. Temporary exhibitions and children’s activities run throughout the year.
