A local history museum telling the story of Richmond and its people from early times to the present day. Highlights include an original cruck house, lead mining gallery, an early chemist’s shop, the grocer’s shop where the founder of Fenwicks Department Stores was born, a traditional Dales post office and the original BBC set from the James Herriot series All Creatures Great and Small.
