Osterley, 'the palace of palaces', was created in the late 18th century by Robert Adam for the Child family as a place to entertain and impress their friends and clients. This urban retreat, surrounded by gardens, park and farmland, continues to impress today. Explore the interior with handheld audio-visual guides or an iPhone app which brings the house to life in a completely new way. Or revel in the peace of the delightful gardens and park which are perfect for picnics and leisurely strolls.
