Our free app is the ultimate guide to enjoying art around the UK – and now it has a fresh new look.
Love the Art Guide app? So do we – which is why we've given it a spring makeover. Say hello to Art Guide 2.0: it's the app you know and love, but with a clean, beautiful new design.
The new Art Guide is now available to download for FREE in the iTunes App Store, and will be available in Google Play in the next couple of days. (We'll be tweeting about it when it's ready.) The updated version allows users to search for the best exhibitions across the UK with even more ease, as well as browse high-res images of venues and artworks. You can also create a wishlist of exhibitions and museums to visit, which will send you alerts to make sure you never miss a show.
The Art Guide is the most comprehensive portable guide to seeing art across the UK, and features over 700 galleries, museums and historic houses.
We're thrilled to be working with mobile lab Entropy on the new Art Guide. Their CEO, Eddie Vassallo, says, 'Entropy is very proud to be working with the Art Fund on the latest version of the Art Guide app – the UK’s premier exhibition and museum listings app. The re-designed app experience has been fully updated (both inside and out) for Apple’s iOS 7 platform and Android’s KitKat OS, framing the Art Guide’s outstanding content in a totally new and modern way – with some exciting new features on the way in coming months!'
You heard it here first: later this year we're going to be launching some new, interactive features. For now, enjoy the Art Guide 2.0, and send us your feedback.
