One of the major collections of material relating to Horatio Nelson, including personalia, decorative art, naval equipment and particularly manuscripts. The attached Local History Centre encompasses archaeology, social history and archives of the people of Monmouth, including Charles Rolls (of Rolls Royce fame). There is also a developing collection relating to the Picturesque tour in the Wye Valley.
