Dating from 1841, this charming neoclassical building was one of the first purpose-built museums in Scotland. Visitors can discover life in Montrose, from the wildlife of the surrounding area to the history of the town and its people. The art gallery holds regularly changing exhibitions. Recently reopened following refurbishment.
