Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery is currently closed for major refurbishment work, and is due to reopen in spring 2013. Highlights of the collection include late Victorian and early 20th-century Scottish painting, with an extensive body of work by William McTaggart and the Glasgow Boys and five major ArtFunded paintings by the Scottish Colourists. The museum features an award-winning permanent local history display, and there’s a lively exhibition programme of art, craft, history and photography.
