Our Flax to Fabric exhibition tells the story of the Irish linen industry with demonstrations of hand spinning and handloom weaving, as well as displaying wonderful examples of historic linen costume and furnishings. We collect and display the cultural heritage of the Irish linen industry and the history of the Lagan Valley region. In addition to displaying items from our collections, the museum also has a range of temporary travelling exhibitions.
