The museum covers over 360 years of military history of the five regiments of Foot Guards and their connection with the Sovereign. The museum is situated about 500 yards from Buckingham Palace and contains unique artefacts of historical importance. The collection includes uniforms, weapons and memorabilia; there is also a Guards Toy Soldier Centre displaying hundreds of lead soldiers.
