Our year-round programme of fundraising, recruiting and event-planning depends crucially on the support of our volunteers whose unpaid efforts turn goodwill into achievement.
You do not have to know a lot about art to volunteer. We need many different skills to help us in our work so whatever your qualifications, experience, or interests, there will be a role that suits you. You may be an administrator, able to help at head office for a few hours a week, or a meeter-and-greeter, suitable for welcoming guests who range from local donors and sponsors to loyal members and curators.
Every year, our regional network of 64 volunteer committees throughout the UK organise a comprehensive and varied programme of events, lectures, trips and outings for existing members and potential supporters to raise money for the Art Fund.
Our volunteer committees give a huge amount of time, resource and support as well as bringing their varied skills and experience to play an important and significant role in raising awareness of the aims of the Art Fund and to help recruit more supporters by promoting the National Art Pass.
If you are interested in knowing what is going on in your local area please go to the What to see section of the website.
To contact the Art Fund committee local to you, please call Supporter Services on 0844 4154100 or email email@example.com who will be able to provide these details.
Volunteer opportunities at Head Office
There are often opportunities to help out at Head Office in London for those who have good computer and general administrative skills.
We also have a team of volunteers who help with promoting the National Art Pass and recruiting new members at art fairs and other cultural events, often in the evenings and at weekends.
If you would like to speak to someone about the possibility of volunteering then please contact the Regional Fundraising team at Millais House 0207 225 4800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Art Fund does offer internships working within different teams within Head Office. See if there are any opportunities available to apply for on our jobs page.
