One of the most visited contemporary art galleries outside London, GoMA’s celebrates the very best of contemporary art, with a distinctive audience-centred programme. Located in Glasgow’s city centre, it shows thought-provoking work and addresses contemporary social issues with its major biennial projects. The collection features international and British artists such as Victor Vasarely, Juan Gris, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Bridget Riley and David Hockney, and also represents the significant impact made on international contemporary art by Glasgow-based artists like Douglas Gordon, Christine Borland, Roderick Buchanan, Martin Boyce, Clare Barclay and Simon Starling.
