Home of the Throckmorton family since 1409, Coughton Court houses fine collections of Catholic memorabilia, porcelain and family portraits. Highlights include the award-winning gardens, featuring the highly scented walled garden and rose labyrinth, hot and cool herbaceous borders, bog garden and riverside walk.

  • Visited here recently. The Art Fund card only covers entrance to the main garden. An extra £2.90 has to be paid to visit the house. A separate fee is payable by all for the Secret Garden.Fiona Kerlogue
