The collections in the house are placed in room settings, with fine oak furniture and carvings, long case clocks, ceramics and glass. The unique Hawstead Panels are of images derived from emblematic books and have been the subject of much research. Local Suffolk artists, including George Frost, John Moore, Thomas Churchyard and members of the Ipswich Art Club are well represented.
