One of the major collections of non-industrial ceramics in Britain. The gallery is particularly noted for studio pottery of 1920-40 and for contemporary ceramics. It includes fine examples of Welsh slipware and ceramics by Leach, Hamada, Cardew, Pleydell-Bouverie, Braden, Vyse, Staite Murra, Wells, Rie, Slee, Eglin and others.
