Situated on a Roman site, a stunning Norman keep dominates the grounds. The Castle is highly decorated and furnished with furniture and fittings designed by the architect William Burges. A small archive is also available (by appointment). New for 2008 - Interpretation Centre which will include an introductory film and multi-lingual audio guides.
