Art Fund Members - reduced exhibition rates

The British Museum holds in trust for the nation and the world a collection of art and antiquities from ancient and living cultures. Housed in one of Britain's architectural landmarks, the collection is one of the finest in existence, spanning two million years of human history.

The collection is divided into departments: Africa, Oceania and the Americas; Ancient Egypt and Sudan; Asia; Coins and Medals; Conservation, Documentation and Science; Greek and Roman Antiquities; Middle East; Portable Antiquities and Treasure; Prehistory and Europe; and Prints and Drawing. Several temporary exhibitions of different sizes are shown throughout the year.
