Using examples from an extensive collection of paintings from the 18th century, the Georgian Gallery displays works by artists such as Gainsborough and Zoffany, and reflects the emphasis on portraiture and the growing interest in landscape painting. The Victorian gallery displays a range of Victorian narrative paintings, including works by members of the Cranbrook colony, depicting work, childhood, love, religions and historical subjects.

Displaying works from Wolverhampton’s collection and loans from national and international galleries, the brand new Triangular Gallery explores Pop Art and culture. Artists highlighted include Andy Warhol, Peter Blake and Eduardo Paolozzi. Sensing Sculpture provides a unique way to discover art using touch, smell, sound, sight and environment to explore the forms, methods, materials and meanings of sculpture.
