Outstanding display of some 1,000 musical instruments forming part of the Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, housed in the world's oldest purpose-built musical museum. The display includes wind instruments, percussion and bowed string instruments from the 16th century to the present day. A kiosk allows visitors to see and hear over forty of the instruments being demonstrated.
