Blackburn Museum is a Grade 2 Listed building. It houses local and natural history, textile machinery, paintings, prints, and a gallery devoted to South Asia. Highlights include the Hart Collection of manuscripts, books, coins, and icons, and the Lewis collection of Japanese woodblock prints. There are also temporary exhibitions.
