The finest of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's domestic creations, The Hill House sits high above the Clyde commanding fine views over the river estuary. The House was commissioned in 1902 and much of the furniture and all of the interior fittings and decorative schemes were completed by Mackintosh and his wife Margaret MacDonald.
