Sheffield City Museum
On display in the museum: silver and other metalwork; ceramics and glass; clocks and watches; Peak District archaeology especially Bronze Age and Anglo-Saxon coins; ethnography; geology and natural history both local and worldwide. The Mappin Art Gallery organises an ongoing programme of temporary exhibitions and displays a collection of 19th-century British art.
