An introduction to the smallest county in England, telling the story of Rutland through displays of archaeology, history and rural life. Enjoy our traditional games and have a drink in the late 18th-century indoor riding school of the Rutland Fencible Cavalry. Temporary exhibitions and children’s activities run throughout the year.
