With its Gaelic battle cry the Royal Irish Fusiliers is unique in the history of the British Army, not just in its daring deeds and honours, but in its ability to recruit and unite all creeds for a common purpose. This ethos is central to the purpose of the museum.

Innovative displays and their artefacts tell the story of Irish soldiers, offering a fresh approach to the interpretation of Irish military history. The timeline, with its events from Armagh, Ireland and the world puts regimental events into context.
