Displays include stunning collections of silver and pewter from St John's Kirk, Perth-made silver from the 17th century to the present, and Perth-made glass: Monart, Vasart and Moncrieff wares. A selection of historic furniture and portraits of local personalities are on display.

Also on show is 'The Time of Our Lives'; a history of the people of Perth and Kinross and 'Wild & Wonderful Perthshire', celebrating the flora and fauna of the area. Temporary exhibitions of fine art from the collections change regularly and often include the Scottish schools, landscapes, Victorian figurative paintings, 20th-century art, prints, Victorian photography, sculpture and contemporary art.
