Art Fund Members - reduced exhibition rates

The National Portrait Gallery houses the world’s largest collection of personalities and faces, from the late Middle Ages to the present day. Visitors can come face to face with the people who have shaped British history and culture, from kings and queens to musicians and film stars.

Artists featured range from Holbein to Hockney and the collection includes work across all media, from painting and sculpture to photography and video. As well as the permanent Collection, the Gallery has a diverse and ever-changing programme of major exhibitions and special displays. Themes range from the work of the world’s greatest artists and photographers to prestigious competitions to find the best new talent in portraiture.
