Natural history
The National Museum Cardiff recently completed a major refurbishment and now has galleries dedicated to 19th-century French Realist, Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, and Italian, Dutch and Welsh fine art between 1500 and 1700. The museum also explores the story of Wales from its earliest times, with collections covering archaeology, geology, numismatics, ceramics, art and biodiversity.
