Celebrating its centenary in 2007, the National Library is a legal deposit library and is the largest library in Wales. Looking out over Aberystwyth and Bae Ceredigion, the building has many state-of-the art facilities. It houses a vast collection of books, manuscripts, maps, photographs, and archive audio/visual material. It has a programme of art and photographic exhibitions and often hosts travelling exhibitions.
