Lewes Castle is one of the oldest Norman Castles in England, and still dominates the town centre. Houses a fine archaeological collection, including delicate prehistoric flints, fine Roman pottery, Saxon weapons and medieval gold rings. The Museum also contains the Lewes Town Model with its audio-visual show, paintings, prints and photographs.
